A remarkable account of the Officers Training Corps, covering its conception and its work during the first year of the First World War and anticipating its future.

Written by Alan Haig-Brown, a British Army officer and footballer. He served as commander of the Lancing Officers Training Corps and was killed by machine-gun fire on the first day of the German spring offensive in 1918.

Illustrated with ten plates, including a frontispiece piece portrait of Major Meiklejohn, V.C.

CONDITION

In the publishers original full cloth binding. Externally generally smart; a little bumped to the head and tail of the spine, which is a little faded. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
