This incredible Disney collectible features Snow White riding on horseback as the Prince stands beside her, recreating the classic ending scene from the beloved animated film. This WDCC figurine set captures the magic of the movie in exquisite detail. With intricate design and impeccable craftsmanship, this piece is a must-have for any Disneyana collector or fan of Snow White. Whether displayed on a shelf or as the centerpiece of a collection, this figurine set is sure to enchant and delight all who see it.
The incredibly detailed figurine set includes Snow White on a Horse (9 1/2") and her Prince (8 3/4"). The set actually comes with TWO Certificates of Authenticity(COA) and its original box and packaging. The figurines were expertly sculpted by Disney Artist Kent Melton.
The Two Certificates of Authenticity include the titles of the two pieces: "And Away To His Castle Well Go..." (Snow White) and "To Be Happy Forever, I Know..." (The Prince).
THESE ITEMS HAVE NEVER BEEN USED, DISPLAYED OR TAKEN OUT OF THE BOX. To take the pictures, I simply peeled back the outer plastic to show the two figurines in all their glory. BUT YOU WILL BE THE FIRST PERSON TO ACTUALLY TAKE THEM OUT OF THE BOX. Like many of the Disney collectibles I acquired over the years, I had no room to display them all. So I would usually buy them, open them quickly to inspect, and then store them in a closet for years. (That wasnt the intent, just how it happened.)
ABOUT THE BOX: When I initially purchased this from a collectibles dealer, he sent it to me in its original box with the postage and everything on the outside (see pics). Needless to say, I was shocked because I WOULD NEVER SHIP anything like that. He also took the sticker off the box that shows what is inside. When I mail it to YOU, I will be putting it inside a 21 x 15" x 16" box with plenty of bubble wrap and packaging around it so it makes a safe journey to your home. Or you can pick it up locally in NJ,
Heres a little info I found on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs from Wikipedia:
Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is a 1937 American animated film produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by RKO Radio Pictures. Based on the German fairy tale by the Brothers Grimm, it is the first full-length animated feature film and the first Disney animated feature film. In 1989, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress for being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
Heres a little about the Walt Disney Classics Collection from their website:
The Classics Collection started in 1992 with three scenes, Bambi, Cinderella, and Fantasias Sorcerer Apprentice. Many other series have since been introduced. Some figurines are limited, and some have been retired. Some of these figurines have risen high on the secondary market. The figurines are made of porcelain, and the process is similar to that use to make Hummel figurines. Individual pieces are molded, put together, and fired in an oven. Then they are painted and fired again. Each figurine is marked on the bottom, signifying the year it was produced. The marks represent significant milestones in Disney history. The figurines with the first year mark are usually the most desirable.
