The Man With the Blue Guitar is a poem by Wallace Stevens, who was an American modernist poet. The poem inspired David Hockney and his visual interpretation of the poem appears in this volume. 

David Hockney is an English painter, printmaker and photographer; an important contributor to the Pop Art movement. 

With colour illustrations by Hockney throughout the text.

In the original unclipped dust wrapper.


CONDITION

In the publishers original hardback binding. Externally, lovely. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. In the original unclipped dust wrapper which is very smart with some fading to the joints and rubbing to the spine, with a small tear to the front wrap.
