Antique vente en gros French Vichy check valance early fabric blue and red faded long valance

• A beautiful find!! This vente en gros textile is a long fragment of an antique French hand worked bed valance dating from the 1820s. A GORGEOUS Vichy textile in red and blue ~ so beautifully aged ! ~*~ This beautiful piece has faded to perfection. Wonderful scalloped edge! This textile is made from a light weight cotton and it is 100% hand stitched. A beautiful textile, ideal for hanging or deconstructing for cutting projects. ~*~ ( 082 )
  


• MEASUREMENTS : This lovely textile measures 139 inches wide by 19 inches long at the longest part of the scallop, and 13.5 inches long at the shortest part of the scallop.
  

CONDITION: This textile is in as found, unwashed condition with storage dust. There are some loose threads hanging about and some small holes and tears especially along the top where this likely would have been nailed to a four poster bed frame. One short side edge is cut, the other edges are finished. ~ Generally in lovely condition for its age, however certainly not without tiny imperfections! ~*~ Best to view photographs for condition details ~ please use the zoom feature ~*~ ~*~ ~*~
