The story involves the Voodoo Kingdom family, Voodoo King, Voodoo Queen, their son Ogoo and the Voodoo Princess, their daughter (Erzulie Thoya). The Voodoo Princess is blessed with superpowers granted by the spirits that animated her ancestors and goes on a mission to rescue her brother in danger. It all started on the coast of West Africa, where the original Voodoo Prince from the Dahomey kingdom had been captured and taken into slavery vente en gros in Hispaniola.
