Sunbeam Alpine I (Early)

Soft Top Hard Boot Cover (Center)

Used center hard convertible top boot cover panel off of an early (probably Series I) Alpine parts car. Definitely different from Series II Alpine, and also different from later Alpine and Tiger.

The pieces dimensions and shape look very similar as Series II, but it has no latches or provisions for mounting latches as Series II panels do (there is also no release cable). Likely correct for Alpine Series I, but please confirm that ID with the photos.

Solid condition with some surface rust, no rust through, and what looks to be original paint. No major dents, but it does have a mild twist (I think it should straighten fairly easily).

One of the lower hinge brackets is still attached (the other is not here).

Includes a complete upholstered interior panel (the interior panel is intact and seems like it is probably original, but it is somewhat musty and dirty; probably best used as a pattern for making a new one).
